Heart Chakra Crystal Candle – Rose Quartz & Crystal Jade

Candles bring warmth, fragrance and atmosphere to a space, but every candle is an open flame and should always be used with care.

Before lighting

Place your candle upright on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface, away from curtains, furniture, bedding and anything else that could catch fire.

Keep candles away from draughts, vents, fans and direct air currents, which can cause uneven burning, excessive flame movement or sooting.

Before each burn, check the wick and trim it where necessary in accordance with the instructions supplied with the candle. Remove any loose wick trimmings, spent matches or other debris from the wax surface before lighting.

Always remove external packaging before use.

While burning

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets, and never place them where they could be knocked over.

Allow adequate space between burning candles. As a general safety guide, keep candles at least 10 cm apart, unless the product instructions specify a greater distance.

Do not move, carry or touch a candle while it is burning or while the wax or container remains hot.

Keep the wax pool free from matches, wick trimmings and other loose debris, and never add oils, herbs, crystals or other materials to a burning candle.

Where a candle contains decorative crystals, minerals or other incorporated details, do not touch or attempt to reposition them while the candle is alight or the wax is hot. Follow any additional instructions supplied with the individual candle.

Extinguishing your candle

Extinguish the flame completely before leaving the room, going to bed or moving the candle.

A candle snuffer is recommended where suitable. Never use water or another liquid to extinguish a candle, as this can cause hot wax to splash and may damage the container.

Allow the candle, wax and any decorative elements to cool fully before touching or moving them.
