Handmade Lokta paper
Our Lokta collection brings together handmade paper, natural texture and three useful notebook sizes for journalling, lists, ideas, reflections and everyday notes.
Traditionally made in Nepal, Lokta paper has a tactile, naturally characterful finish. Small variations in colour, fibre, texture and cover detail are part of the handmade nature of each notebook, meaning no two pieces will be completely identical. AW identifies the range as handmade in Nepal and made from Lokta paper.
Three sizes
The collection is available in:
Mini — 12 × 8 cm - Compact and portable for handbag notes, bedside thoughts and quick ideas. 40 leaves
Medium — 15 × 12 cm - A versatile everyday size for journalling, lists, planning and reflections. 45 leaves
Large — 21 × 15 cm - A more generous writing format for longer journal entries, creative notes and everyday planning. 45 leaves and includes a bookmark
Each size has its own individual product listing so that availability can remain accurately synchronised.
Three cover collections
Blue Cotton - A deeper blue finish with the tactile character of handmade Lokta paper.
Flecked Cotton - Natural cotton texture with small flecks of colour running through the cover.
Natural - An organic botanical finish featuring natural dried flower detail and individual variation.
A notebook for everyday rituals
Keep a Mini beside the bed, carry one in your bag or choose the larger format when you want more room to write.
There is no prescribed way to use your notebook. It can become a journal, sketchbook, place for lists, intentions, travel notes, plans or simply somewhere to put thoughts before they disappear.
Care
Keep your notebook dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight.
Because the paper and covers are handmade, natural variations in colour, texture, fibre and botanical placement may occur.
Store flat or upright in a dry place and avoid placing heavy objects directly onto the cover.
